I love your shrug pattern. I have Paton's Divine yarn, it is a mohair type yarn. Do you think it would work with your shrug pattern? Donna

Hi Donna--I think it would look really nice with mohair--you'd just want to check your gauge and make any adjustments (which I would be happy to help you with).

Thank you Amy. I have a few balls, so I am sure I would have enough to make the shrug. The label reads: Bulky, J hook, 3 1/2 ozs 100grams, 142 yards. Do you think it would be a good choice for pattern? Donna

It sounds almost excactly right--the yarn for the pattern is Debbie Bliss Silk Alpaca 100g/140 yards. So you might not have to make any changes--I'd still make a swatch just to be sure.

I just purchased the shrug pattern. Hopefully, after dinner I can get started.

Just thought I let you know your pattern is very nice. So easy to follow. I ditched the mohair. Dreadful to work with, not my thing. I am using cotton in sweet pea green. Donna
