New hooks and New books!

I am soooo happy DH gave me some amazon vouchers for Christmas and my books arrived today I got -

 

Creepy Cute crochet - loads of funky amigurumi patterns

Loop vintage crochet - not looked at this one yet - want to savour the pleasure

Simply crochet - a uk book which is good, because it uses yarn that is easily available here. Lots of nice wearables.

 

ALSO - I was browsing ebay and saw Susan Bates hooks 6 for £7 !!! Which I thought was pretty good. I had never tried these hooks before, but they are brill!

 

I am well chuffed with my new purchases. Just waiting for my Crochet Today mag and then I will be like a pig in mud

I was going to get that book but some of the reviews said it wasn't a very good book. The patterns weren't written right or something. How does it look to you?

Oh! I hadn't heard that. I haven't got around to trying a pattern out yet, but I am going to be starting one this weekend so I will let you know how I get on.
