aurgh! 1/2 skein short

I was making my friend in Chicago a scarf and hat to help keep her warm. I thought I would have enough Jiffy for both but ran out before I could finish the scarf. Now I cant find it anywhere near me. ARUGH! Oh well. I guess I will send it to her later when I find it again. Has this ever happened to you?

 

 

EDITED: Opps its not Jiffy its Bernat softee chuncky. I guess I will have to look again. I thought it was jiffy.

lol funny you should mention that last night I was working on squares for my afghan well I need to make 7 squares for each color well I was making 7 squares out of turquoise to begin with and I only have four squares done because I ran out of yarn to make 3 more squares

I was making a shawl and used a totally different type of yarn than the pattern called for. I had to guess at how much I actually needed and ended up 1 skein short. Luckily I was able to find it again when we did our holiday shopping so I was able to finish.

Its Bernat Softee Chunky in Natural. I have to go back out on Tuesday so Maybe I will find it then. Thanks!
