What does this mean?

crochetdiva

Question

What does "fpdc" mean? I am not familiar with this. Also is there a good site that tells you how to do crochet stitches? Some patterns have instruction sheets, but I haven't seen this one. It is in a pattern for a hat I am making. Thanks

I have to laugh about that, I thought I knew how to do the fp/bp thing... but it seems I read the directions wrong, or just didn't understand what I was supposed to be doing. I think I invented a stitch :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl I did it on my son's black hat, then again on a hat made for his math tutor... and about a week later found out I'd been doing it ALL wrong :w-lol

I've been hesitant to try to do it the right way, at least till I write down how I've BEEN doing it. Just in case I want to do it wrong again.

mmouseplus.gifNot wrong just a different way. :D If it achieved the results you were looking for, then, hey, it's right! That's how new stitches or techniques get invented! :rofl
