Buffalo snow vs fiberfill

Is there a difference between the buffalo snow used this time of year and regular polyester fiberfill? I make a lot of stuffed animals and with the buffalo snow being marked down 75% after Christmas, wondered if it would hold up the same as regular fiberfill. Anybody know?

From the Buffalo Snow/Super Fluff site it looks like the Buffalo Snow is pretty much the same thing, but the buffalo snow comes in a version more like quilt batting.

I use the buffalo snow for all my stuffies.....I go to Michaels and buy all they have the day after xmas LOL ........
