Quick and Easy 6-Point Flower (my first pattern on here)

i was looking for a quick flower and even though there were so many cute ones i couldn't find what i wanted. so i made it up. bear with me, it's my first pattern written down. if you see any mistakes feel free to let me know. and i would love name suggestions

here's what it looks like on the hat i made

 

 

QUICK AND EASY 6 POINT FLOWER

 

You’ll need: size G hook and sport weight yarn. If you want a larger flower, try ww and size h hook

If you plan on sewing item to a hat ext. remember to leave a tail in the starting chain long enough to do so.

This is worked in the round, no turning needed (I’m so lazy) lol

1.Ch 2 – 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join w/ slip st. (6 sc)

2.Ch 1 2 sc in same st, and 5 others , join (12 sc)

3.Ch 1 *sc in sc, (sc, ch 3, sc)* in next sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * to 8 5 times more. (6 ch3 sps)

4.Ch 1 sc in same st , sk sc, * (sc, hdc, hdc, dc, hdc, hdc, sc) in ch 3 (first petal made), sk sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * to * 5 times more ( 6 petals)
