i'm leaning how to spin. i took my first class last tuesday. i am learning to spin specifically to spin the fur from my two large and fluffy dogs. i figure if i can't get enough fur from them, i can volunteer to brush dogs at the animal shelter. the dogs there would love the extra attention (and so would i), if they looked better from being brushed more they would be more likely to get a new home, and i would have a nearly unlimited source of material to make my yarn.
