csi mishap!

I'm watching the old csi:new york episodes and lo and behold, knitting comes into play. (a woman was stabbed with a very very long needle.) However, when they question the woman who owns the bag, she says that she knits things for her dog, and then references a crocheted blanket! I had to re-watch it just to see if the afghan might have been one of those that can look similar in stitches. Nope. It was made up of granny squares! For a show intent on solving the truth with crimes they made a boo-boo with that woman by just leting her story be!

They missed it because they are clueless. And in the meantime, all the knitters and crocheters are laughing up their sleeves because these "brilliant Hollywood types" don't know the difference in knitting and crochet.
