Is bernat felting yarn good for felting?

I was just wondering is bernat felting yarn good for felting?

 

I would appreciate any tips on felting. I have never felt a project before.

I have tried lion brand, patons, and nashua. So far I have liked patons. It felted really quick. the lion brand and nashua took two full cycles in my washer the patons took one and felted beautifully.

I added 1/4 cup baking soda to my felting when in my wash. I found on many websites that it works much better than soap. also get the water as hot as possible.
