CSI: NY rerun

I'm watching an episode of CSI: NY which takes place at a dog show.

A woman is stabbed with a knitting needle. The CSI asks her what her knitting needles were doing in the grooming area, and she proudly proclaimed that she knits her dog things all the time, like the blanket he was lying on. It was definitely a crocheted granny square blanket.

I remember that episode, but must not have been watching that closely!

I think I remember that one too and I said something to DH!!!

I missed that episode. But the blooper in it - woman who knits and they show a crochet item she supposedly made - reminds me of a commercial I saw some years ago about Northern toilet tissue. The commercial was telling about Northern being "quilted" and it showed several women sitting around Northern tissue stretched in a quilting frame stitching it using "knitting" needles. I caught the commercial about twice before they pulled it. They later ran it again but this time the women were using needle and thread.

 

I always thought they needed to check the accuracy of something before airing it on tv or in a movie. I guess not.
