How much yarn for this pattern?

I've found this pattern http://yarneverywhere.blogspot.com on here somewhere (but I can't remember who's sorry), anyways, how much yarn would be enough to make the doll? That's a good question! Her pattern uses worsted weight yarn (4) which is a little thicker than baby yarn. Also she uses an I hook. If you use baby yarn (2)you'll need to use a smaller hook like an E or F because it won't work up right with an I hook. Also, the doll will be smaller, but I'm not sure how much. It would be interesting, though, for you to experiment and see how it comes out. Nice yarn, and I, again, would guess to bid on 4 skeins of a color for the body since the skeins look small. You're better off having some left than not enough. Know that you'll need to use baby yarn for all the other features as well. Best of luck.

Ok, I have another question...it says size I hook, is this 5.5mm or 2.0mm? I looked in my local shop and a size I hook over here (UK) is tiny!

klaire12 - our WW equivalent in the UK is Aran weight so you'd need around a 5mm or 5.5mm hook, hth!
