Question about felted purse straps

I made my very first felted purse:clap It's drying as we speak and I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Now here's the question...the straps are a little longer than I want, can I cut the felted straps to my desired length?

Yes, once the wool is felted into a solid fabric you can cut it.
