Best kind of beads to work with? (Paillettes)

What are the best kind of beads to work with? I'm searching for the name of a bead .. It starts with a P.

 

Can anyone help me?

What kind of project in your mind? What kind of yarn/thread you are planning to use.

 

I have some work with beads, I use fine threads (size 30 mostly) and I use seed beads, glass ones. But I need to tell you that they are little hard to work with because they are very tiny.

 

I searched a little to find bead name starts P, I did not see it.

The only bead I can think of that starts with 'P' is a pony bead.

Thank You both for answering. The bead that starts with a P is something like Pointelle or something like that.

 

They are like a large sequin only not as shiny. I wanted these to decorate edges of scarves, instead of using fringe.

Guess What? I just found the word I have been looking for. " Paillettes "

 

It's French for sequin. :-) Anyway, those are what I'm hunting for.
