Best Way To Join Squares...

Hi!

 

I'm using scarp yarn to make a afghan or blanket. ( Depends on how much scrap yarn I have. )

 

I am crocheting 3 inch squares. BUt then i have to join them. Now what is the BEST WAY to JOIN them ?

 

I may be 51, but please explain to me how to join them as though I was 5. LOL

I crochet mine together with a single crochet. You will have a lot of squares to do if they are only 3 inches each!!! Have fun!!

I join squares and panels with single crochet as well. It holds better than just slip stitching them together.

I'm working on a join-as-you-go afghan right now and the squares are about the same size. You could look for instructions to help you do that if it's a look you'd like.

 

Other that that, I slip stitch - and I'm really particular about it, so it takes me a while.
