Pocketbook slippers

Here is a single slipper that I made. I was trying the pattern out to see if I wanted to make more. I used Red Heart acrylic. I think I will make more of these but use a wool blend for warmth. Here is the link to the pattern. http://knitwits-heaven.tripod.com/pocket_book_slippers.htm In the pattern when is says to knit 6 rows, I added at least 3-4 more rows....I shouln't have. It made them too big. Here is a picture of them flat.

 

 

I want to make these for my bowling girls....they won't know what they are!

 

Here is what it looks like on my foot (I didn't know how hard it is to take a picture of my own foot!)

Those are very cute. They remind me of the slippers in "Wizard of Oz."
