This has not been tested but I have made several. I wrote this down while making a hat w/o the face, so next time I do the face I will write that down and add it later.

Pumpkin Hat

 

 

W.W Yarn

G Hook for sizes 2-5 (bigger hat use a bigger hook and you down a hook size for a smaller hat)

Chain 2 is not a dc.

Stem:

 

Ch. 5, join to make a ring. Ch. 2

Rd. 1. 6 sc in ring, join, ch. 2 (6 dc)

Rd. 2. 2 dc in each dc around, join, and fasten off (12dc)

 

Hat:

Join orange

Rd. 3. dc in each dc around, join, ch. 2. (12 dc)

Rd. 4 2 dc in each dc around, join, ch. 2 (24 dc)

Rd. 5 dc in same st as ch. 2, * 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, repeat* around, join, ch. 2. (36 dc)

Rd. 6 2 dc in same st as ch. 2, * dc in the next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat* around, join, ch. 2 (48 dc)

Rd 7-12 dc in each dc around, join, ch. 2 (48 dc)

Rd 13 hdc in each dc around, join and fasten off. Weave in ends.

 

Curlie:

Ch. 10, 3 sc in the 1st chain from hook and in the next 9 ch, fasten off and weave in ends. Put on hat.
