Back support pillow

Hi Crochet friends

 

I trust everyone is having a nice summer.

This may sound sort of selfish but I promise it is not!

I am asking for something for myself and hope that there may be someone out there who can whip my wish up rather quickly.

 

I am two weeks out from a total hysterectomy which I had to have.

I am only 39.

I cannot do much around the house yet...I do a tiny bit of crocheting and embroidery but I have another 6-8 weeks to recover. I will know 8/28/08 when I can go back to work full time. I am a nurse.

 

On top of my recovery ---lying down resting, watching movies in my recliner---- my back really hurts! I have pinched nerves in my low back so lots of sitting and resting gives me more back pain than you would think.

 

I would really like to have a crocheted long, round cylindrical pillow to go behind my low back when I sit in the recliner, drive my car etc.

 

I dont know if anyone can make one of these easily or not.

I dont care what color. Scrap yarn is totally fine. Nothing matches in my house anyway, except maybe our socks. :-)

Anyhow. If anyone could help it would forever and greatly be appreciated. I know where are many many people who needs things more than I do, so if its not possible I understand.
