I have been looking for fellow crocheters in my area for a while, and so I thought I'd see if any were on here. I know they're out there, but all I run into in the stores are knitters. Nothing wrong with that, I just don't knit myself.

 

Are you out there? I'm talking the Catawba valley area, not the town/county. I'm in Hickory personally, but work near Shelby and go to church in Morganton, so...

..I wish I were closer... anyhow... I have a bit of a medical thing in Aug.. but perhaps I can organize a day of crochet somewhere in the middle..like a NC Meet & Greet type thing in Burlington..so none of us will have an awful drive but still be able to spend the day together

I keep thinking - I wonder how many NC crocheters are into Crochetville. I am down at the beach in Shallotte (Ocean Isle & Sunset Beaches).

I like the idea of meeting somewhere.. but Burlington's at least a 2 hour drive, which is a lot for $4 a gallon gas...
