I hear through the grapevine that a town about 25 miles from here is getting a new Michaels! We've never had Michael's anywhere near here. At first I thought great! But, with the gas prices ... UGH.

 

Then I remembered this same town has a JoAnn's and a Big Lots also. They are going to have to spiffy up.

 

Actually, there's a Walmart too, but it's an older, smaller one.

 

With all these places in close proximity to each other, it will be worth the occasional trip I think!!!

we used to have a michaels and a hancock but they both went out of business now i just have joanns (very limited yarn etc) a sierras and walmart - sure wish i could have a hobby lobby!!!! there is one in utah about 2 hours away but with gas prices i would have to make a weekend of it and have lots of cash!!! someday maybe
