Crocheted Wire Necklace with Beads

I used a thin wire to single crochet these beads onto a necklace. Nothing too fancy. The wire does seem pretty thin so I am hoping it stands up!

Do you find wire difficult to work with?

 

I used a pretty thin wire so it wasn't too difficult. I'm a bit worried that it's too thin but it seems to holding up pretty well so far.
