crochet round robins?

In 1994 I used to participate in Crochet Round Robins which involved swapping 6" or 7" Granny squares.

 

A simple one would be something like

 

Send 2 granny squares to No1

 

Move No 2 to No 1 and you become No 2

 

Make 6 copies and pass on to your other round robin friends...

 

Does anyone know if these round robins still exist? Maybe they are now called exchange slips?

So it's like a chain letter using granny squares. I would love to do that. I did something like it with kitchen towels once. Count me in!

I did the kitchen towels thing too. This sounds like a lot of fun, count me in if anyone starts one. I'm working on granny squares right now, so I'll go ahead and make some extras.

I did one of these with flip flops once...it was a lot of fun, I ended up with some pretty cool ones...if you start one I would like to join.

Sounds fun. We did one when the kids were little with those Little Golden Books that are really cheap. And I've done recipe ones.
