Need Source: Irish Linen Handkerchiefs

Hello Fellow Happy Hookers!

Years ago I would (with fine crochet thread) crochet edging along Irish linen handkerchiefs (that had holes in them around the outer edge).

Does anyone know of any source(s) for purchasing these types of Irish linen handkerchiefs?

And I have seen some at Hobby Lobby, but that was quite a long time ago.

Handy Hands sells them. I just bought some of the cotton ones and they are very nice and have fast shipping.

:claphershners does sell them but i dont remember if they had little holes on the edges.if they have no holes can you still use them ? Good luck theresa:cheer

Yesterday, I found (stashed in a box in a closet and forgotten about) a box of my old lovely pearl thread for crocheting lacey edges around handkerchiefs ... lots of thread, but no hankies in the box ... so, "A-shopping we will go, a-shopping we will go!"
