I just finished watching the Nicholas Cage film Next. When they are in the motel called the Cliffhanger Liz (jessica Biel) gives him a blanket off the bed it is a giant granny afghan.

I noticed that too and meant to come here and post. lol As soon as I saw it I mentioned it to my DH who just stared blankly at me!! lol

I watched it a second time with DD and she said "mom isn't that a crocheted blanket" How neat is that that a 13yo would pick it out?
