stash buster afghan

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of making a stashbuster afghan. I seriously need to de-stash. it would be nice to make a color coordinated afghan, but i just can't do that right now. my yarn is just so disorganized. ugh. Anyways, I've made one before, it turned out pretty well. oh yeah, i've got pictures from my old camera that i have to get put on a cd. :-) should do that soon.

anyways, it turned out pretty well, and it's huge! lol. i made strips of crochet, with popcorn hearts. I just grabbed skeins of yarn and crocheted until they were all used up.

You could go look at the Drum Afghan. There's a CAL for it. You could use up a lot of colors with it and make any size you want from lapghan to bed blanket.

There is a vertical stripe afghan online. That is nice too. It is done in one piece lengthwise. I dont think I can post the link, but if I can, just let me know and I will do that.

Another afghan I have made is a scrap granny square, where each block or each row is a different color...

It would be cool to have a folder just of listings of the scrap afghans others have used. This is such a common question and I dont think of keeping the patterns I like until I need them. By then, they are gone right out of my mind!!!!
