Argh! Please help, Blogger is being mean!

Okay I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but I searched and couldn't find the answer that helped any.

I'm trying to upload a new pic to my blogger and its not working for me. I can either upload a HUGE pic that doesn't show all of it or a tiny thumbnail. I actually made it work one time (the giant granny blanket) and can't get it again and have no idea how I did it.

I would love to have pics that size that are clickable instead of the tiny ones. Please please please help me so I don't throw my computer out the window.

What I do is to upload my photos to photobucket and then use the html generator at the bottom of the folder page.. it makes the html that you then copy and paste into your blogger post.

Be sure to use the "recommended" ones to get the thumbnails that can be clicked to make larger.

And let me say THANK YOU for being considerate of those of us with slow connections. I much rather visit a blog with clickable pics than with the gargantuan ones.

Have you read the help files in Blogger http://help.blogger.com/bin/topic.py?topic=12465 It says to choose the file size ie: small medium and large after you upload it. See if this helps

Also in Crochetville there are help files for pictures for posting pictures in Crochetville here: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40

and here: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41

I use Photobucket and it generates the code for the clickable picture then I link them here in Crochetville.

Good luck

Thanks. I always click the photo size and it still comes in huge. What really is frustrating me is that I've done it right before and now it won't work. But even then I remember doing it a zillion times to get it to work right.

I guess I'll keep playing with it.
