I don't know if this has been brought up before; if it has, I apologize.

 

I bought a skein of this color to try because I just loved the colors. They are stunning and I was very eager to try working it up. Unfortunately, when I finally did last night, I was disappointed. Unlike the other simply soft colors, it is a rough feeling yarn (reminds me of RH). I think it is beautiful worked up - I :manyheart the colors - but am not so in love with the actual yarn.

 

Is it just the batch I have, or has anyone else run into this?

its seems a little rougher.. but wash it with a good dose of fabric softner.. and you will be happy.. i promise!!

 

Okay ... I trust you ... so I'll give it a shot ... but why on earth is it so much coarser than the other simply soft yarns??
