Great way to embellish projects!

This may be posted somewhere, but when I was looking on the Internet to find "surface crocheting," as Crocheting for Dummies termed it, I couldn't find it except for a couple of places. I came across this just now. It is a photo tutorial of how to crochet on embellishments. I love this method because it is super easy, you don't have to cut your yarn off the skein, you don't have to use a needle until you weave in the ends, and it looks okay from the back too, not the same, but not yucky. (I'm all about things being reversible on blankets, etc)

Yes, I use this method once in a while to outline on crochet. It's really just an attached chain. I recently made a small 3-D barn for my Dad and outlined the door and window. It came out very nice.
