Thread digging into my finger

Maybe I crochet too tight but when crocheting with thread, it digs into the top of my finger. I've been putting a bandade over my finger which does help keep it from digging in as bad. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Try loosening your tension.

lol, I have the same problem....I get yarnburn sometimes too. when I am doing a long session of crochet, I usually put some tape around my finger. I know that some stores sell plastic finger covers but they are too big for my fingers.

I get an indentation where the thread rides across the top side of my index finger. But it has never cut into me so I don't worry about.

If it is cutting into you then your tension is too tight. Relax a bit.
