Are these 2 books the same?

I would like to get 150 crochet trims and the complete book of crochet border designs but I don't want to waste my money if all the patterns in the crochet trims book are in the border one. I would appreciate any input(feel like number 5 from short circuit saying that lol) on which one is the best or if getting both would not be a waste. thanks

I have both and each one is great! The 150 book has more pattern type designs. The complete book is like a big encyclopedia. I recommend both!

Thanks. I was hoping to get both of them. I guess I'll go ahead and order them and cross them off the list of books I'd like to get, of fwhich there are several(ok slightly more than several).

I have the 150 Crochet Trims and it's a total waste of money. Nothing real pretty in there at all.

I have at least 3 books (gift/used) on borders/edgings for blankets that I don't use much. I always look at copies of books before deciding to buy. If you think you'll use them enough and have space to store them, go for it.

I've run out of stamps so I can't send off the order form for the books so I think what I may end up doing is going to a cpl books stores and looking to see if I can find them, that way I won't be wasting money by ordering them and not liking them. I would like to be able to do different borders/edgings on afghans since I only know how to do a cpl but I'm gonna try to make myself wait to make sure I would like/use them first.
