Guideposts Knit for Kids

Does anyone crochet sweaters for this project? My Mom has had a subscription to Guideposts for as long as I can remember as a kid, and in the 20 years I've been away from home, she has always kept my subscription current. I'd like to make some sweaters, and was wondering if anyone has experience with this project.

That's awesome! The crochet pattern is written really weird and I can't follow it! Did you knit or crochet them? If you crocheted, would you be willing to help me with the pattern?

I didn't use that pattern. I used "the easiest sweater in the world " pattern!!

My grandmother has been knitting for them for years. She sort of follows the pattern...basically she makes the two sides and uses the #of stitches they recommend, but she just uses stockinette for the whole thing.

With the crochet I would think the ribbing would be the hardest part. But I haven't looked at the pattern in a while.
