FCS teacher here!

I am 22 years old and a first year Family and Consumer Science (a.k.a Home Ec.) teacher. I started teaching my studnets how to crochet back two weeks ago. Now there is a crochet epidemic going around school and I love it! Students who are not even in my classes are asking me how to crochet. I have math and science teachers who crochet bringing me patterns and having their students making blocks for extra credit.

 

All of my students are making blocks for Warm Up America and now other clubs and classes are joining in!

Great! You know, Lion Brand had a good reputation for answering letters from teachers. Yoiu might see whether they can send you some patterns, yarn or who knows what to help this project along!
