Calorimetry

Me too, me too! I made a calorimetry (from Knitty Winter 2006), and it was so easy! It only took me three hours, and that includes having to cast on 3 times and rip out 4 rows once. And I love it! I'm going to make one for each of my sisters for Christmas. But I think I'll make it narrower, because I think they'd like that better. I scrunched it up a bit so you could get the idea of what a more narrow version would look like. Which do you prefer? Thanks for looking, Patty (images should be clickable)

Your Calorimetry turned out great! I personally like the wider version but if your sisters prefer the headband-style then I say go with that. What kind of yarn did you use? I love the color

Nice job! Aren't they fun to make? I like mine just a little narrower, I think the last one I made was only 6 rows of the repeat.

 

Is that you in the picture? Whoever it is has great hair....

I used Filatura Lanarata Chaco in color 56, I think. Blue.

 

And that's my hair, Smokey, thanks! I found a salon here in Tucson that specializes in curly hair in January. They've been reshaping my hair. This is hair style no. 4 for 2007! It's an inverted bob, and while I haven't had my hair that short in the back for years, I love it.

Looks great! I plan on making more as well and likely cast on less stitches and do less rows too.
