Want to start a crochet group in Eastern NC?

I live in Trenton, which is close to New Bern, Jacksonville, and Kinston. Now that I've moved back home, I would love to have some crafty friends to meet up with every so often to crochet, chat, or whatever strikes our fancy.

 

Anyone interested? Is there already a group that I don't know about? Tell me what you think.

I know there is a group here in jacksonville that meet once a month. Ive wanted to go but i'm terribly shy and it's hard for me to walk into a group of woman who already know each other "alone"

Hi Leticia,

I'm in Morehead City. We have a couple of groups here that do prayer shawls. But like you, I don't know these women (most of them, anyway.) I like making blankets for charity - Pine Ridge Reservation or Warm Up America. I get people to make squares and I either put them together or send them to someone who will. They then get sent to the designated area.
