The Name of a Magazine Is saw this month was ins tores I believe.

 

and ALL I remember about it was that it was wrapped in plastic to hold something extra and that there was this one Pattern I ADORED!

 

It was like to go around a coffee mug to keep it from being hot and it had cute Candycanes on it!

 

Anyone know it?

 

I know its not a lot to go on but I wanna try and see if I can back order it since its no longer at Borders!

Have you tried looking at knitting magazines? Sometimes they have crochet.

What you describe sounds familar to me. I'm thinking it might be Vogue Knitting Holiday. Their site is down but I found this:

Went to the store today. Looked through Vogue Knitting. Was not in there.

I looked through current issue of Crochet Today. And I'm pretty sure this is it:

Funny everytime I looked at the site, it doesn't show, just the 'cookies' and I didn't look at my copy at home.

I also didn't think it was that because my issue wasn't wrapped in plastic. However the other day at the bookstore their copys are with Coats and Clark catalog. I feel cheated by Wal-Mart. lol

 

So if you haven't found it by now, I hope that was it.

It actually had a free Caron Yarn Catalog. I will post the name later tonight as the magazine is in my car waiting for me to drive home. Tonight is my last night of cat sitting. Boy will Caper be glad that I am home! Oh and my folks as well.

I am sure I read Coats and Clark on the catalog bundled with the Crochet Today magazine. I could be wrong.

However considering they use a ton of Coats and Clark yarn in their magazine; and it's listed on their site:

Ok I am home and I found it. It is called Crochet World,but I think the Empress is right because there is not a pattern for a coffee cosy in there. And the yarn catalog was Coats and Clark not Carons sorry. Yup it was the Nov/Dec issue of Crochet Today! Try Michaels or JoAnnes or AC Moores maybe they have one left. Good Luck!

Also on todays Daily Crocheter there are breast cancer awareness coffee cozies. Could be adapted to candy canes quite easily.
