Has anyone made a Pistilli shawl?

Hi,

 

I am in the process of making a shawl using this pattern, and wondered if anyone else had made one.

 

I am using a 7mm hook and 12 ply yarn and I have 7 pineapples as the start. I hope it doesn't end up too big. I made it as wide as the Pineapple Fan shawl done in the same yarn is.

 

If you have made one, what did it turn out like?

Not ever made one of those, but it looks like it will be a challenge!!! Keep us posted on the progress!!!

I am surprised, it has taken me about...six - eight hours to finish this. It went that fast!

It is about 58 inches long, and 33 inches deep. Unstretched, and unwashed. Done in 12 ply/10WPI yarn and a 7mm/K? hook, it used two 100gm balls/7 oz. The label doesn't have a yardage on it, but the tension is 17stx23rows on 5.5mm needles.

Actually, its a very easy pattern. A lot easier than some other pineapple ones. Save it for next time eh?
