A big stash can be a big help!

I have a huge closet full of yarn. Way more than anyone would need at one time. So much, that I don't even know whats in there. But do I feel guilty, no?

 

I'm moving this week. Packing packing packing.

I HATE it. And packing up my yarn is hard, BUT it's helpful. Skeins of yarn in plastic bags are perfect padding to protect lamps and other oddly shaped breakables.

 

So..... build that stash! It's a useful tool!

thats hilarious when we moved to our new, bigger apt 1 1/2 yrs ago we used all my then-small-compared-to-now stash to cushion and to use up space in some of the pretty-empty-but-heavy boxes. it was actually very useful!

oh wow, that's a good idea - I never thought of that! I should do that next year when I have to move out of my school apartment to my summer one...

Hopefully we will be moving soon to a bigger house in a nicer area. I have the perfect excuse now for buying wool lol. I will tell him what a great idea it would be to use my stash for protecting breakables.

We won`t have removal pple to deal with we are doing it all ourselves with help from friends and a big van he has access to.
