anyone from algonquin ,il interested in getting together?

Hello,

I am a newbie crocheter from the Algonquin,/lake in the hills , Illinois area.I am interested in meeting others from my area to crochet with , learn new methods from and possibly make items for a charity or two.My charity interests are something for children and cancer hats.I am having a difficult time finding anyone from my area.I see allot of people from Chicago and other area's of Illinois.if anyone is interested in getting together let me know.

You probably already know this. There's 2 CGOA Chapters in Illinois but I don't know Illinois geography at all.
