Need a picture/image to understand...

Question

what a triangular shawl should look like starting at the beginning...i am trying a shawl here:

but can anyone point me to a picture as to what the beginning should look like...which I think will help me understand what my end result should be....thanks...

:cheer Personally, I do not like HDCs because it is much harder to make them look nice when doing rows and it is hard to decide where the top of them is.

 

The Shawl starts at the bottom of the V and gets wider as you increase 2HDCs on each row.

 

I think it needs to increase quicker or you will end up with a long, narrow shawl.

 

PM me if you would like some more info on how to improve this pattern.

Lion brand has a slightly larger picture on their website. I had problems with their tea and sympathy shawl pattern.

I just finished my first shawl and it came out really nice. It's a half granny/shells motif.
