Maybe a strange ?!

I'm not real sure where to post this so here goes! I am making a fat bottom bag and have made the Tapestry Tote Bag, just have to line it and finish the handles. Question is, has anyone tried spraying yarn with Scotch Guard? I spray cloth purses all the time but don't know if it would change the feel of yarn. Don't want to risk ruining either bag but if I could spray with the Scotch Guard it would sure help keep the bags clean.

I haven't done it but I think it'd be fine. I've Scotch Guard lots of things in the past.

You could whip up a swatch and test it on that to be sure, though.

I'd test it on a swatch first.

I would make a small square first, then spray it. You can then check the color and feel of it by putting it alongside your finished piece.
