a fun fur question

ok this may sound odd but for those of you who make the "fuzzy" bears out of fun fur do you hold the fur together with a strand of worsted weight/sport weight or just the fun fur alone? I love the look of the fuzzy bears but am just not sure how to manage it.

The fuzzy fur bears ar usually done with just the fur....though alot easier to deal with fur, feathers etc if you are knitting it. For crochet I used the yarn with the fur so as to better see my stitches....alot easier than just fur believe me. It makes a lovely thick teddy which is very durable!

I use it with fingerling yarn. I can see my stiches easier but still gives the project that FUZZY look. Much easier to work with this way. Good luck on your projects. May the crochet gods be with you!
