I think this deserves a little more traffic. It's a thread from the "Crochet Events and Happenings" area, linking to a poll from Berroco asking whether crafter primarily knit, crochet, or consider themselves equally adept at both fiber arts.

Joy - I thourght this poll ended a while ago. It's too bad the percentage of crocheters was so much smaller than the percentage of knitters.

The number of 'pure' crocheters is very low (22%), but when you take the 'both' and add them to the 'crochet' you get almost 40%. That means it's an almost even split between people who knit and those who know crochet. Yes, there are more 'pure' knitters out there, but we're a pretty big number too.

Yep, it hasn't ended yet. I noticed posts for it here several months ago. Not sure if it is ongoing forever or are they doing it every month??? Just voted yesterday.

I went over to the Berrocco site just now and voted. The "primarily crochet" percentage is at 36%!!
