EASY Star Pattern

Marita116

Question

Hello Friends!

I am busy crocheting an American flag afghan and I need to put on the 50 stars! I have a few patterns for small stars but the trouble is I just learned to crochet and I don't understand how to read the short hand in these patterns!! Does anyone have a pattern that is easy and is not in short hand. The blanket is all done in a single stitch an I would prefer for the stars to be in single stitch, if that is possible.

Thanks for the help!

This is my all time FAVORITE star pattern. It takes a little practice but once you get the pattern down it's quick, easy and AWESOME. The points are even pointy!!!
