Teach your Kids/grandkids to crochet, heres why

My Granddaughter, who is 12, had to do a demonstration for school so she decided to "crochet" I had taught her when she was 7 and still in my daycare. So she showed the class how to crochet and even took the teacher a washcloth she had made........she got an A:cheer So it pays for the to learn how.......Isn't that Neat!!!! :clap

Excellent. Nice to see the crocheting bug will be passed on to others to get hooked.

That is wonderful. I've taught my kids, but none have used it (very much) yet. My oldest took up knitting on her own, though.

My 3 and 4 yr old granddaughters tried to crochet when they came to visit us this spring. Their little hands were just a bit too uncoordinated to handle the yarn and hook. I'm sure the older one will want to try again when we get there next week so I'll keep working with her.
