Bone ring?

I have a crochet pattern for a snood I'm dying to try. But it calls for two bone rings. What are bone rings, what do they do, and where might I find a pair?

You probably won't find any real bone rings anymoe. There are some rings called Cabone ( made from plastic) , that are made from plastic. Joann's<,Micheal's, ACMoore carry them in limited sizes. Plastic rings, in varying sizes can be ordered on line. I got mine from Create for Less. The price was fair and the delivery was very quick.

just so you can see what they mean. They are available everywhere but they are so easy to overlook if you don't "need them".
