I need help from you creative ladies! I want to make some M&M people to use as Christmas presents for my office staff. I want these to sit on top of the computer monitors. I think I know how to make the body but am having trouble deciding how to make the arms with the hands and the feet with the sneakers. I want all of it crocheted. Want do you think if I use baby booties pattern for the shoes & a mitten pattern for the hands? Let me know your ideas. Thanks

I have one of those spinning knitting things that makes the knitted ropes. Simply Soft is the perfect size for it. That could work for the arms and legs. I think it's a great idea.

How about crocheting along a pipe cleaner for the legs and arms...then they will be able to assume poses.

Or you could use what RoseRed said and feed the pipe cleaner through the center of the tube.
