any ideas?

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is a quilter. Now for the fun part...she is opening a small quilting shop with sewing notions, fabrics and quilting and sewing lessons. She has offered to sell some sewing related crochet items on consignment from me. What should I make to sell. I am planning pincushions and some kind of necklace to hold scissors. Can anyone think of anything else that might sell to quilters that I can make? any ideas would be extremely helpful as this would be the first time someone has offered to "sell" my creations.

You already mentioned pincoushins, but how about needle/scisor 'roll-ups' as I call them. Felted would work great. A rectangular piece with a couple of pockets for stuff and a nice area for sticking pins or needles into with a tie for travel?

Also crocheted blocks that are quilt-block inspired. Quilters are SUCKERS for anything depicting a quilt block. Just ask my mother.

They could be framed and sold as art, or if they're not too lacy, as potholders.
