I learn to crochet at the age of 7 now i am 43 yrs old i took a break from it when i immegrate to this country ,but years ago i did a lot of dollies . i want to go into the more art form of crochet and i even want to make a full dress for me,and i want to design it too.Right now i am making dresses for dolls to give me the idea of what i want.How do i turn a small pattern into somethig i could where?

I haven't tried this myself, but you can use a sewing pattern and crochet the pieces to the size of the pattern piece. Or use your own body measurments and make a piece that fits you. Be sure to let us know if you make a dress. Best of luck to you as a new designer!

You're undertaking a huge project, but I'm sure with a lot of measuring, and some math, you'll come up with a nice design.
