Got Lucky at Hobby Lobby today

went in and got 5 balls of cotton for a project and I had a 40% off coupon for 1 item. she took off it my entire purchase, so I saved $3.00. I was like woohoo!

I bought furniture there once and didn't realize it until I got home, but a table that was supposed to be $99.00 got rung up at $0.99. Since I bought A LOT of furniture, the manager said not to worry about it, that it was their mistake when I called back!!

Some places, if they ring an item for a wrong price, will give you the item free. I found this out the good way at a big box store.

Sometimes they do that and other times they don't. So I usually bring the kids with, give them an item, some cash and a coupon, and we all get the yarn for 40% off. But now I am forbidden to buy any yarn, so I just stay away from HL:( .

 

One thing I don't like is that they don't use scanners, so you really have to pay attention to what is being rung up. I just don't understand, in this day of electronics, why they do things manually.
