Lion brand Fun Fur versus Moda Dea Jai Alai

I have always used Fun Fur and Bernat Boa when making scarves, for trim on ponchos, etc.

 

Last week, I was in AC Moore and needed some Fun Fur for another scarf I am making. They had Moda Dea Jai Alai on sale for $3.29 a ball. I bought this to try instead of the Lion, which was $4.99. Am I glad I did. This did not shed, except for one piece while crocheting the scarf. usually the Fun Fur is "flying" when I use that.

 

Jai Alai is now my preferred brand!!

I haven't seen the Jai Alai but I'll keep my eyes open for it. All I've found in stores so far of the Moda Dea is their sock yarn (which I like!). )

I haven't seen the Jai Alai either but I'm fed up with the fun fur. If I wanted to clean up fur I'd get a dog! :snoopy

I prefer ChaCha. It's so soft but doesn't come in as many colors. So it's a trade off.
