Reynolds Icelandic Tweed... what??

so someone posted some patterns the other day in another category and I fell in love with a knitted cape/cloak pattern.. problem is, it's very vintage, and it calls for Reynolds Icelandic Tweed.

 

Yeah, this isn't what the yarn is really called or people are denying it's existence to drive me crazy.

 

(sorry that the needles/gauge are knitted)

 

The info I have is:

Reynolds Icelandic Tweed

100 grams/skein

No. 11 needles

Gauge: 3 sts = 1", 4 rows = 1"

 

I don't need to find THIS yarn, but something that will work for this pattern or at least knowing what type the initial yarn was (worsted, bulky, etc.) could help me out a heck of a lot...

i think Reynolds turnberry tweed would work .. maybe some Lite Lopi

hmmm, i'm not much of a knitter.... but i went and pulled out my needles.

size 11 are 3 sizes larger than 8 which is the norm to use for WW... so this makes me think this yarn must be a chunky or bulky weight......:ideanot
